电炉-LF-VD-CC流程冶炼MnCr系齿轮钢的工艺实践

探讨了电炉-LF-VD-CC炼钢连铸工艺生产汽车用MnCr系列齿轮钢过程中的生产难点.通过控制化学成分,连铸过程采取保护浇注,保证了该钢种的可浇性.连铸过程采用M+ F-EMS复合电磁搅拌方式,对比了三种末端电磁搅拌电流参数对钢的凝固低倍组织及成分偏析的影响,结果表明:采用复合电磁搅拌,可以显著改善钢的铸坯凝固组织,降低铸坯缩孔,随着电流的增加,中心等轴晶的比例明显增大.当电流强度较弱时,中心成分出现负的碳偏析;当电流强度较强时,电磁搅拌强度较大,中心成分出现正的碳偏析,但低倍未出现白亮带.当电流强度为中等时,电磁搅拌强度适中,中心成分无碳偏析,成分均匀性较好.因此,末端电磁搅拌的电流控制在中等时,齿轮钢的低倍组织最佳,宏观偏析最小。
