Antimicrobial resistance threatens the effective prevention and treatment of an ever-increasing range of infections caused by bacteria,parasites,viruses and fungi.Hence,A series of naphthalimide tetrazole derivatives as tertiary amine type of fluconazole analogs were synthesized and characterized by NMR,IR,MS and HRMS spectra.All the new compounds were screened for their antimicrobial efficacy against four Gram-positive bacteria,four Gram-negative bacteria and five fungi in vitro by two-fold serial dilution technique.The bioactive assay manifested that most compounds exhibited good antifungal activity in comparison with the reference drug Fluconazole.
