本文从自然环境审美意象、人文景观审美意象和生活空间审美意象三方面构建和分析了新加坡的城市意象体系。设计成为政治工具,辅助完成了“现代化”符号凌驾于多种族碎片文化上的覆盖,产生了过度西化、文脉断裂、对真实城市感知弱化的问题。同时尝试解读“设计之都”新加坡的文本,还原其背后隐匿的“国家意识形态”。最后提出新加坡要解决的问题是现代化本身的产物,只能用现代化的方式去解决。只能依托设计走政治认同的道路,丰富自己的文化符号,形成并传承稳固的城市记忆,逐渐建构起本土的文化认同。
This paper constructs and analyzes Singapore’s urban image system from three aspects: the aesthetic image of natural environment, the aesthetic image of human landscape and the aesthetic image of living space. Designed to be a political tool, the symbol of “modernization” has been assisted in overriding the cultural coverage of multi-ethnic fragments, creating problems of over-westernization, cultural disruption, and weakening of real-world cities. At the same time, I try to interpret the text of “Design City” Singapore and restore the “national ideology” behind it. In conclusion, the problem to be solved in Singapore is the product of modernization itself and can only be solved in a modern way. Only by relying on the design to take the political identity of the road, enrich their own cultural symbols, the formation and heritage of a solid urban memory, and gradually build a local cultural identity.
