As a new form of diplomacy, public diplomacy in the world scope is more and more emphasized and also increasingly become the hot spot of the academic circles.As the changes of The Times and development, the soft strength combined with hard power in the competition in overall national strength increasingly prominent role.The development of public diplomacy can provide soft power with more energy, and is even more to be seen as important component of foreign "soft power".This paper, through the main concept paper public diplomacy and content, analyzes the role of public diplomacy, to clear up the public diplomacy of the soft power of the important effect.Analyze the mechanism of the soft power to public diplomacy, and through the rational dialogue in other countries to realize understanding of China.And analyze the current development of Chinese public diplomacy, so a clear understanding of our current problems and the reasons for the shortcomings will be come up, and actively study measures to enhance Chinese soft power.By getting rid of the shackles of the old government arranged concepts , concept of emancipating the mind , improve the organization construction, mining the soft power resources, increase the conversion efforts to strengthen the legal construction of public diplomacy and other means to enhance our countrys public diplomacy capabilities, thereby enhancing the countrys soft power.
