Nonlinear dynamical systems are sometimes under the influence of random fluctuations and often evolve on multiple time and/or spatial scales.Macroscopic models for these systems contain such randomness as uncertain parameters,random sources,and random boundary conditions.Stochastic partial differential equations are appropriate models for various randomly influenced systems.
