Omics studies is experiencing an explosive increase during the last decades and the journal Genomics,Proteomics & Bioinformatics (GPB) has witnessed the fast dcvelopment of the scientific publishing on Omics since its first launching in 2003.As the official journal of Beijing Institute of Genomics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,GPB receives hundreds of submissions year-round while most of them were turned down due to various reasons.In this talk,we aim to take you through the publishing process with a scientific journal,taking GPB as an example.
