Marine microorganisms are not only valuable sources for novel natural products,but also important participants for the biodegradation of environmental pollutants.In recent years,petroleum and diesel pollution in either soil or sea water has caused severe damage to the environment,and restoration of the environment has become increasingly important.Microbial treatment technology has the advantages such as environmentally friendly,no secondary pollution and in situ operation,and has been considered as a promising environmental remediation technology.Due to the complexity of diesel contaminants in composition and low degree of bioavailability,common organisms are difficult to degrade petroleum hydrocarbons.Therefore,screening microbial strains with efficient bioremediation property is prerequisite for bioremediation of oil pollution.
