  Due to many attractive properties, such as excellent high temperature mechanical properties, superior oxidation resistance, C-SiC-based ceramic matrix composites offer great potential for applications of high temperature components.During the past decades, in the development of ceramic matrix composites, the carbon fibers and silicon carbide fibers on micro-level were mainly used as the reinforcements for tailored microstructure.SiCnanofibers have exhibited excellent mechanical properties and oxidation resistance than their bulk materials, making them attractive for enhancing composites.
