中越布依语在基本词汇方面仍有较大的共性,但一百多年的地域阻隔和不同的语言接触状况使二者在词汇方面产生了一些差异,越南布依语中出现了大量来自当地语言的词汇,而国内布依语的借词则主要来自汉语。
Sino-Vietnamese Bouyei is still more common in terms of basic vocabulary. However, more than one hundred years of geographical isolation and different language contact conditions have produced some differences in terms of vocabulary. A large number of Vietnamese-born Bouyei languages come from local languages Vocabulary, while the main borrowings of the domestic Bouyei are mainly from Chinese.
