Photoacoustic imaging(PAI)is a non-invasive and non-ionizing biomedical imaging modality that combines the advantages of optical imaging and ultrasound imaging.Based on PAI,photoacoustic detection(PAD)is an emerging approach that is involoved with the interaction between PA probes and analytes resulting in the changes of photoacoustic signals for molecular detection with rich contrast,high resolution and deep tissue penetration.In recent three years,we have developed a series of photoacoustic probes for ions,such as Hg2+,Cu2+,F-,ONNO-,etc.This talk will highlight our recent advances in using photoacoustic probes for ions detection.
