Poly(butylene adipate) (PBA) or poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB), kept in amorphous melt state, on the crystalline morphology of stereocomplexing capacity of poly(L-and D-lactic acid) (PLLA and PDLA) were studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), polarizing-light optical microscopy (POM), atomic-force microscopy (AFM) and wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD).The PHB/sc-PLA blend system shows a single composition-dependent Tg in all composition, indicating miscibility and interactions between PHB and sc-PLA.
