Fusarium graminearum (Fg) and F.verticillioides (Fv) are two pathogenic ascomycetes that cause cereal crop diseases and produce mycotoxins, threatening global food safety and human health.Molecular mechanisms for pathogenesis are crucial for disease control but not well understood.Genetic analysis of Fg and Fv cAMP-PKA pathway showed this pathway was required for normal pathogenesis in both species but also played species-specific roles in secondary metabolism.

The growth of fungal groups could tremendously spoil the grain quality and even produce mycotoxins concerned to food safety, which should be sensitively monitored and controlled during grain storage.

Our global "Mycotoxin Survey Program" reveals that the 5 major classes of mycotoxins occur very frequently in animal feeds. In the period of 2004 to 2013 we analyzed more than 24,000 feed and feed ingr

Mycotoxin contamination is one of the factors affecting on quality and safety of Thai agricultural commodities. Our major agriculture product as rice is not likely the source of mycotoxin, according to
Several fungi are associated with maize during pre-and postharvest periods, of which the genus F.verticillioides and F.proliferatum, known as the main producers of the fumonisin-mycotoxin.Clearly, the

Aflatoxins B1 (AFB1), B2 (AFB2), G1 (AFG1), and G2 (AFG2) are major aflatoxins produced byaflatoxigenic fungi.These fungi also produce a small amount of aflatoxins M1 (AFM1)and M2 (AFM2), 12c-hydroxy
The aim of this work was the quantification of different biological parameters (fungal growth, biomass and fumonisin B1, (FB1) and the evaluation of the dynamic of expression of maize lipoxygenases ge
