The incidence of inguinal hernia is very high.The lifetime risk of inguinal hernia is estimated 27％ in men and 3％ in women [1].Globally, patients undergoing inguinal hernia surgery are over 20 million person·times [2].In 1989, Lichtenstein proposed the concept and method of tension-free hernia repair.
