  We aimed at obtaining stimulation-sensitive polymeric carriers for tumor targeted drug delivery.A multifunctional polymeric micelle for intracellular drug release and fluorescent imaging was prepared.In the structural design,an interlayered pH-sensitive "on-off" module was engineered into the micelle to turn the drug release "off" in bloodstream whereas "on" in the acidic lysosomal compartments of cancer cells.
