@@The Meso-Cenozoic crust was evolved and developed by Mesozoic folding, fault block movement and Cenozoic cupola block movement.1. Mesozoic basins evolutionThe Mesozoic tectonic movement started from the Middle Triassic period of the Mesozoic era was the most vigorous crustal movement in the Phanerozoic era, and invaded the entire Korean Peninsula. The tectonic movement was more vigorous in the eastern part of the Korea-China Craton, accompanied by folding, fault block movement and magmatism. By this movement the basins within continent were formed. This tectonic movement might be attributed to an intensive subduction of the Pacific Plate to the Asian continent at the beginning of the Mesozoic era.
