Polyfunctional bio-derived aromatic compounds bring a number of merits in polymer industry.Based on diverse structure of bio-derived compounds, we design and synthesize bio-based polymers with desirable structure and investigate their physical properties. Here we use D-hydroxyphenyllactic (DHPhA) acid, a bioderivatives in lactate family, to get new aromatic-aliphatic polyester and polyurethane.
