Water, significant natural resource to maintain ecological balance, as well as scarce strategic economic resource is being over-exploited which leads to serious ecological problems.International society has realized that greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption and pollution of wastewater management should be well controlled.Thus,carbon footprint and water footprint are introduced to provide new ideas and tools for management of GHG emissions.Standards and guidelines, more calculated products, assessment of textile and apparel products carbon footprint and water footprint, are suggested.
