In this study we focused on the influence of nano-size B4C particles (~60 nm) on microstructure and mechanical behavior of Al-2024/B4C composites.The experiment involved ball milling of 2024-Al and B4C powders followed by spark plasma sintering (SPS) and rolling.The microstructures of composite before and after rolling were characterized by X-Ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Electron Backscattered Diffraction (EBSD).
