  The ancient Chinese architectural culture considered that architecture is part of the environment,and subject to the environment.The harmonious coexistence of environment,architecture and human is the highest state of human settlements.The environment is still the original source of the figure and design for todays architects.Architecture and environment is an indivisible whole.The quality of the environment is essential not only to architecture but also to architectural heritage.Architectural heritage and the surrounding environment are interdependent,and the protection of architectural heritages surrounding environment is equally important.As the youngest member of the Chinese architectural heritage,modem architectural heritage is easily ignored,and its surrounding environmental protection also has a certain particularity.Architectural heritage and environment in different regions and at different times have their own particularity.They need to be treated differently in the process of protection and renovation.This paper will be written from this point,combining related cases at home and from abroad,to get the expression and analysis of those surrounding environments characteristics and the status,and puts forward suggestions for their protection and renovation.
