　　Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.cucumerinum was isolated from infected cucumber seedlings and mature plants from different parts of India.These isolates have been characterized previously by specific PCR marker and VCG assay.In addition, a total of 50 isolates were classified by morphological characters and virulencetests.Most cultures of F.oxysporum formed microconidia in false heads on CLA and only a few isolates dont formed microconidia.All microconidia were fusiform, oval or allantoid in shape and were produced on monophialides only.
