Nanotechnology is widely considered to have a major impact in the future on various stages of the food chain.By the year 2030 it is envisaged that various aspects of nanoscience and nanotechnology will have led to the development of new and novel foods and to improvements in the quality,safety,authenticity and nutritional value of food products.The tools of nanoscience are allowing novel insights into the molecular structure of foods and food materials and providing new insights into food structure.
