Cordycepin is an important bioactive component of a Chinese traditional fungal drug,Cordyceps militeris(L.) Link.and has good hypolipidemic activity,possibly associated with mechanism of AMP-activated protein kinase.But cordycepin is metabolized too fast in vivo,which has limited its utilization.Many scientists make efforts to modify its structure.
