　　A single reagent fluorescence polarization immunoassay (SR-FPIA) based on a polyclonal antibody for the determination of herbicide butachlor was developed.Various tracers (BMPA-AF,BMPA-EDF and BMPA-HDF) with different length of bridge between the hapten molecule and the fluorescein label were compared to select the best single reagent immunocomplex.According to the kinetic binding of butachlor polyclonal antibody with tracer and kinetics of equilibrium for the SR-FPIA,the calibration curve was obtained.The stability of the single reagent immunocomplex for butachlor was also studied.
