A soilborne fungus, Sclerotium cepivorum attacks Allium species, and causes white rot of the plants worldwide.Five Allium species were recorded as hosts of the fungus, and white rot has resulted in severe damage in garlic in Korea.Two isolates of Paraconiothyrium minitans were selected as biological control agents of white rot.The experiment was carried out in a garlic field in Taean, Korea from October 2011 to June 2012.
