Intensified human activities have caused the degradation of the ecosystem functioning and the loss of biodiversity at local to global scales.Meanwhile, the intensity and frequency of extreme weather are enhanced with global warming and therefore can accelerate the changes of species distribution and community structure.Todate, few studies have focused on the synergic effects of multiple environmental stressors or the impact of extreme climate on lake ecosystems in Yunnan.
