FeGa magnetostrictive alloys exhibit moderate magnetostriction but good mechanical properties, which were widely use in engineering materials.[1] Furthermore, its magnetostrictive responses to magnetic fields have been extensively investigated under applied tensile or compressive stresses. In this work,FeGa thin films are deposited on the curving and flexible Cu substrates by electrochemical deposition to adjust the stress-induced magnetic anisotropy. The central angle,θ,indicated the curvature magnitude of films. The tensile (+θ) and compressive (-θ) stress is produced in the as-deposited films after the substrates are flattened.
