Objective To detect the inhibitive effect on multiple myeloma (MM) cancer stem cells(CSCs) by ABCG2 monoclonal antibody (McAb) in combination with Fe3O4 nanoparticle-paclitaxel(NPs-PTX) in vitro.Mothods MM CSCs were sorted from human MM cell lines NCI-H929 and RPMI8226 through the immune magnetic beads sorting method.Growth inhibitive effect was detected by CCK-8 assay.Effects of cell cycles and apoptosis were de tected by flow cytometry.Results The proliferation of NCI-H929 and RPMI8226 cells were suppressed after treat ment with ABCG2 McAb in combination with NPs-PTX for 24 hours.There is statistical significant difference between the combined utilization of ABCG2 McAb and NPs-PTX group in contrast to the utilization of NPs-PTX group alone.
