Recent proteomics approaches based on highly sensitive LC-MS/MS technology have enabled us to obtain large-scale information on the focused proteome.Sophisticated computational analysis of such a dataset can provide a system-level view of cellular events. Here we applied this technology to the analysis of the human short ORFeome and the tyrosine-phosphoproteome.
