The pollutant removal performance,activated sludge characteristics and microbial community in two biofilm membrane bioreactors combined with pre-anoxic tank(BF-AO-MBR)(one using fiber bundle carriers and another using suspended carriers)and AO-MBR were compared under the salinity from 0~60 g/L.Three reactors showed good COD removal efficiency(above 94.1%)at all salinities.Two BF-AO-MBRs behaved better performance of TN than AO-MBR under different salinity,and BF-AO-MBR with fiber bundle carriers behaved excellent TN removal efficiency(90.4%)at 30 g/L salinity.
