Photoproduction of hydrogen by using microalgae,water and solar energy is looked as a promising method for clean and renewable energy production in the future.However,oxygen sensitivity of Fe-hydrogenase of green microalgae,including a model species,Chlamydomonas reinhardtii whose Fe-hydrogenase activity is high,extremely restricts the utilization and development of algal hydrogen phtoproduction techniques.
