Dopamine,a kind of neurotransmitter acting through five subtypes of nervous G protein-coupled receptors (D1-D5),is indispensable for pain responses.However,the intricate dopamine modulation of pain hypersensitivity is still not clear.The present work demonstrated that all kinds of dopamine receptors expressed in rat spinal cord and dorsal root ganglion dominantly with D2 receptor.
