It is well known that for a chemical reaction,such as electron-,proton-,hydrogen atom-,hydride-,and group-transfer reactions(eq 1),it has been a chemists dream for a century that the reaction rate constant like the corresponding thermodynamic driving force can be quantitatively estimated only using one physical parameters for each reactant.
