Due to their numerous and important properties,LC/polymer composites have been emerging as one important photonic materials.Generally,LC/polymer composites devices, such as polymer dispersed LC (PDLC),holographic PDLC (H-PDLC),are developed for the displays or shutters.Meanwhile, the LC/polymer composites have attracted much attention in photonics devices (grating, diffractive optical elements etc.) due to the electrical, optical tunability. In this paper,we present the tunable lasing behavior of periodic and quasi-periodic structures based on LC/polymer composites.
