Stress minimization of mechanical design is an interesting topic which initiates new design methodologies.Topology optimization is one of the powerful methodologies to achieve stress minimization goal.Stress-based topology optimization consumes a lot of computational power due to the nature of stress constraint. In order to reduce the computational power,p-norm optimality criterion and mesh morphing based shape optimization were studied for L shape domain made of steel (Youngs modulus is 210 GPa,and Poissons ration of 0.3).
