毕摩是彝族传统文化精英,彝学研究离不开毕摩,毕摩文化研究是彝学研究的核心。改革开放以来,毕摩文化研究取得了很大成绩,但是描述性研究多于解释性研究,对毕摩文化在全球化语境下的现代转型研究和培养使用的关注都不够,毕摩文化的研究还存在着不少困难。为此,要找准方向,从毕摩传人培养与使用机制的研究,利用高科技手段保护彝文典籍、仪式和风俗习惯以传承毕摩文化,推动毕摩主动向现代转型、变革创新、获得生机等方面作出新的努力。
