A theoretical analysis based on shear-lag theory was carried out to analysis the load distribution under the thrust load in lap region between skirt and case (LRSC).The result was compared with the FE analysis.The results show that the load distribution is based on the axial stiffness of the composite skirt without considering the effect of the rubber layers.If the thickness of the rubber can't be ignored, the rubber layers will have a significant effect on the story drift displacement, resulting in a different load distribution.
