  Recently,micro- or nano-HPLC-MS/MS based techniques have been seen rapid development in proteomics study.However,new materials and techniques for sample preparation are also of great significance to achieve the high efficient,sensitive,and accurate proteome analysis To decrease the interference of high abundance proteins on the identification of low ones,artificial antibodies,biomolecule imprinted polymers,with either protein or epitope as the template,have been synthesized,and successfully applied in the selective removal of high abundance proteins.To improve the identification sensitivity of glycoproteins or glycopeptides,various new materials have been synthesized,with mechanisms as either boronate affinity or hydrophilic interaction.Besides,such materials are of various matrices,including polymer nanoparticles,monoliths,and graphene oxides,preferable for different applications.To decrease the dynamic range of proteome samples,both protein equalizer and fractionation strategies have been proposed,by which the identified protein number from human serum could be doubled.All above mentioned new materials and techniques might play promising roles in both qualitative and quantitative proteome analysis.
