Background Determining the optimal angiographic implantation projection is pivotal for correct positioning of balloon-expandable aortic prosthesis during transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).We aimed to assess the value of intra-procedural 3-dimensional (3D) reconstruction of the aortic root derived from rotational angiography images,using dedicated software (DynaCT(@)),for identification of the ideal projection for prosthesis deployment and to compare it with multislice computed tomography (MSCT).
