The insulin glargine, long-acting insulin analogue (commerical name,'LantusR, from Aventis) is similar to Insulin in term of structure,except for the addition of two arginine residues at the C-terminal of B-chain and the replacement of A21 amino acid from asparagine to glycine in A-chain.
