The fabrication of bio-and nanomaterial arrays in a controlled manner and the synthesis of novel nanomaterials have attracted significant attention because of their importance in a number of fields including biology,sensors,devices,etc.in this talk,I will summarize the researches which my group has done recently.This includes dip-pen nanolithography-based controlled fabrication of arrays of peptide,Au nanoparticles,CNTs on solid substrates [1],"needle-scratching" method-based fabrication of large-area catalyst patterns used for growth ultralong (0.5 mm) and high density SWCNTs (10 tubes/μm) [2],synthesis of anisotropic rice-shaped nanomaterials [3],and graphene-based materials [4],biosensing [5],solar cells [6],devices [7] and cell cultures [8].
