Aim SOCS3 was short for suppressor ofcytokine signaling 3, which played an important role in regulating organs injuries of diseases, and inhibited cytokines from releasing by feedback regulation of JAK2/STAT3 signal pathway, however, there was no report about the role of SOCS3 in inhibiting inflammation reaction in severe acute pancreatitis.We aimed at determining the expression of SOCS3 in pancreas and lung tissues of rat with severe acute pancreatitis and determining the changes of cytokines in semm to investigate the mechanism of action of suppressor of cytokine signaling 3 (SOCS3) in experimental severe acute pancreatitis (SAP).
