LA-ICP-MS detrital zircon in situ U-Pb dating and source rock chronology provenance tracing,characteristics of sandstone petrology research result shows a high consistent of two age peaks of a Paleo-proterozoic (2700-1600 Ma,including two peak of 2700-2450 Ma and 2150- 1800 Ma) magmatic and metamorphic origin-nated zircon (80 ％) and a Paleozoic (245-560 Ma) magmatic originated zircon (19 ％),with a few (＜1 ％) Neoarchean and Middle to Neoproterozoic weak age peak in Chang 8 Group,Upper Triassic from southwestern Ordos basin,which imply that the same provernance parent material accomondation occurred during the Chang 8 stage.
