Consider an (R, Q) replenishment policy in a continuous review inventory systems, where the leadtime for orders is assumed to be uncertain variable instead of random variable, because some unpredictable events in the supply or transport process lead to the distribution of leadtime can not be obtained due to the lack of historical data.To minimize the expected cost function based on uncertain programmuing, the optimal reorder point R and batch size Q are found.Numerical examples for different liner uncertain distributed leadtime are illustrated, and the results indicate that the uncertain leadtime significantly affect the inventory cost and optimal order points.
