Liposomes have very similar structure with cell plasma membrane.Using Liposomes as stationary phase in liquid chromatography or pseudo-stationary ph~e in capillary electrophoresis has been demonstrated to be a good dynamic method for the study of the interaction between cell membranes and important biomolecules.There has been no report on integrating plasma membrane proteins with phospholipids as pseudo-stationary phase in CE.In this paper, a novel mode of capillary electrophoresis, i.e.protein-liposome conjugate was developed.This protein-liposome biomimetic membrane was for the first time demonstrated to be applicable as pseudo-stationary phase in CE.The protein was able to significantly improve the chromatographic performance and stability (shown in Fig.1).The experimental phenomena were further confirmed in terms of specific capacity factors and free binding energy(Fig.2).This new CE mode was used to investigate the interaction between dopamine transporter and dopamine/nomifensine.
