　　Wogonin and baicalin are bioactive flavones in the popular Chinese herbal remedy Huang-Qin(Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi).These specialised flavones induce apoptosis in a wide spectrum of human tumor cells in vitro and inhibit tumor growth in vivo in different mouse tumor models.
