Obesity has increased dramatically during recent decades.Consequently,obesity and associated disorders such as nonalcoholicfatty liver disease (NAFLD) constitute a serious threat.In the liver,Nuclear receptor (NR) proteins direct a large array of keyhepatic functions that include lipid and glucose metabolism bile secretion and bile acid homeostasis.
