  Background: With the rapid increasing number of DNA sequences, it is highly desired to develop numeric methods for accurately formulating DNA sequences.Traditional mathematical expression is mainly based on k-tuple nucleotide composition.However, long-range correlation between two oligonucleotides is ignored.Recently, we developed a pseudo K-tuple nucleotide composition (PseKNC)-based method to formulate the DNA samples.
