Objectives:To assess the efficacy of one-staged anterior radical debridement,decompression,and fusion with anterior and/or posterior spinal instrumentation in the treatment of multisegments spinal tuberculosis.Methods:Between 2001 and 2005 a total of 15 patients including thoracic,thoracolumbar and lumbar spinal tuberculosis underwent anterior debridement,allograft bone fusion,and stabilization with anterior and posterior instrumentation.The mini—invasive technique including thoracoscope and X—tube were applied in the later 8 cases.
