Hydrate-phase equilibria and spectroscopic measurements were reported for (CH4 + C2H4) and (C2H6 + C2H4) hydrates in a recent study by Kang and Lee (Ind.Eng.Chem.Res.,2013,52,303-308).For the binary (CH4 + C2H4) hydrates,large-cage occupancy of C2H4 molecules increased non-linearly with increasing C2H4concentrations in the mixed gases.
