Objective: To observe the effect of a novel photosensitizer 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) -mediated photodynamic therapy (PDT) on 9L glioma in Fischer344 rats and to explore its mechanism. Methods: Twenty male Fischer344 rats were intracranially inoculated with 9L glioma cells and then randomly divided into control group, PDT treatment group (energy density of 40J / cm2, 80J / cm2 and 120J / cm2). 9L cells were inoculated 7d after treatment
